Spring 2022 is just around the corner - before you know it the days will be longer and we’ll be enjoying the warmer days in our spring clothes! With a new season always comes new trends, and it’s fun to spot the different styles we see creeping into everyone's wardrobes. We’ve put together a list of four spring 2022 trends we’re expecting to see this year so you can look out for them yourself!

Chunky shoes

Boots, pumps, sandals - all the shoes you know and love but chunkier than ever! Platform and chunky shoes have been making their way back into our wardrobes for a few years now, but this spring we are expecting to see them more than ever. They’re a great fashion statement within themself, while also being really complimentary with a lot of different outfits. Chunky platform shoes are a great way to give you some height as well without having to worry about wearing any uncomfortable heels. They’re fashioned forward and make a statement without much effort!

Mix and match bold colours

Spring is all about colour, and this year more so than ever. Colours are in big time, but you don’t have to just stick with one bold colour and then match it with neutrals - instead, it’s time to go bolder than ever and mix and match different colours together. Block colours are a great way to do this, and make a statement with what you’re wearing. The best part is you can get a lot of wear out of these items as different pieces will go with a variety of outfits. 

Co-ords

On the opposite end of mixing and matching, co-ord outfits are back. We saw this regain popularity a few seasons ago and it seems they’re back and better than ever. Co-ords are a great way to make a statement by wearing a matching set. As well as this, as they’re individual pieces you can also wear them with items you already have in your wardrobe giving you the opportunity to create a range of different outfits.

Maxi dresses and skirts

Maxi dresses and skirts are always popular in the spring and summer, however we are seeing more and more available in stores this year. It’s great to see a good variety of these items for people to choose from, and they can last you for years to come if you look after them. After all, maxi dresses and skirts have never truly gone out of style! If you want something unique to you, why not get your own bespoke skirt or dress made? Your seamstress will be able to work with you and find a pattern you love to create your very own item!
