We carry out all types of trouser alterations from Trouser Shortening to Trouser Tapering and Trouser Waist Adjustments. Whether your trousers require hemming or are too loose or are too tight on the trouser waist, we can quickly and effectively adjust the size by altering the centre back seam and waist band.
After a fitting with our Master Tailor, we can also determine the perfect shape of the seat and adjust the fork as needed. We can taper trousers fully or partly for a closer fit and neater silhouette. For a subtle taper, we remove excess fabric from the inside leg seam, and for a more drastic change, we can reduce the leg width by adjusting both the inside and outside leg seams. When shortening trousers, we do it by hand to ensure that the stitching is invisible from the outside. Additionally, we offer the option to replace belt loops with more traditional side adjusters using excess fabric from the trouser hem.

The Team
All of our team are qualified Master Tailors by trade. Despite being already qualified, the team have to undergo a rigorous Alterations Boutique training programme to demonstrate they perform work to our high standards. In addition, there is ongoing regular training to help the team master their skills.
